When you eat little, your digestive system can effectively digest all the food without leaving anything. There will not be any burden on your digestive system. To fill the minimum daily calorie requirement, you need to take 3 to 5 short meals a day. And this way, your digestive system is also getting some sort of exercise!
Skipping meals might help losing weight temporarily, but on long run this could bring a lot of troubles for the health, especially for women.
