Weight loss is often linked to high carb and high calorie foods. People who are on a weight loss program generally tend to overlook the ‘meat’ factor. In fact many people who are on weight loss doesn’t really bother about the meat they consume. Since meat is related to the protein content, most obese people add meat to their daily diet.

A British research has linked high protein diets like meat to weight gain. Processed meat products like sausages and ham are among the top contributors for weight gain.
This weight loss research has been conducted on over 400,000 adults from 10 different European countries including UK.
This weight loss survey has given out some interesting facts, which are in opposite direction to the normal weight loss theories of “High protein diet, low carb diet and weight loss”.
Weight loss specialists and dieticians has shown some sort of surprise on the end result of the study.
They have asked people to cut down the higher intake of meat in the diet.
Dieticians have suggested people to go for fish and eggs in diet instead of ham or bacon.
